By Lance Winslow While hanging out at the local Starbucks, I met a lady who was sipping on a Latte not too many moons ago and she had indicated that so often whenever she had conversations with men they did not get excited about talking with her. Of course little did I know that this would become an upcoming topic with our Online Think Tank. It appears that men respond much different than women in conversation and of course these issues tend to make things a little awkward of course. In looking back at the Starbucks encounter it appears that there could be a number of reasons why a woman might find men difficult to get along with. For instance perhaps; She was distracting to them? Maybe they feel intimidated? Since she was tall for a woman maybe they could not look down to her if they are short; might have to look you in the eyes and intimidation sets in? Maybe they are of low-self-esteem and feel inferior next to her achievements? Perhaps she projected an air of self-confidence and this bothers them. Maybe they were awestruck by her beauty? Sorry, I had to throw that last one in for the fun of it. But seriously you know, one would conclude not worry about it much? Perhaps we should ask a tall gal of 6'2" if she feels the same with regards to talking to men, then we might go ask a 5'2" cute gal if she feels the same. What do they say; "The Tallest Candidate" for office usually wins? You see sometimes the reasons for issues such as these are multifaceted and often just an issue of miscommunication?
